Very easy online reservation. I was able to go to the facility immediately after the online process. Once at the office Brook completed the rental in less than 2 minutes. I was literally moving my things into my space in under 5 minutes from arriving. Brook was very friendly, professional and had such a nice positive attitude. The facility is very clean and well lit. This is not in the contract (they just say it is “month to month and they can change rent as they see fit”) and the staff does not offer this information up for you. Ask specifically though, and they will confirm. Compass has a clean building and friendly staff. My only complaint is they already raised the price of the storage unit I rent in less than six months. (I began renting this summer.) I remember seeing some older reviews mentioning the same thing happening to them, and I was hoping maybe that had changed over time. Unfortunately the original price was a bit over budget of what I was looking for, so having the price raised so soon is putting me in a bad spot. Update: Had a thought to check their website for prices tonight and saw the same unit they’re renting to me (for $200) listed for $100 less (same size, same floor). So if you’re renting with them, expect them to not be completely transparent about pricing and how it will inevitably raise for you and not new renters. ??

I just recently got another one, and can easily say this facility (in my opinion), is the best on Amelia Island! The storage facility also rents out U-Haul trucks but ONLY if you live in that exact area code. I had a reservation today all set up, but because I live in Yulee (5 minute drive from this location) they wouldn’t rent me the cargo van when I showed up. Went down the road (2 minute drive) to the official U-Haul center and they got me the same cargo van I’d requested and said they get a lot of people turned away by the losers at this location. Don’t go here for U-Haul unless you live in the exact same area code as this location.

John and I are both members of the Nassau Spirt Fishing Association in Fernandina Beach, Florida. It’s such a great organization! They do many sport fishing events during the year as well as participation in the annual shrimp festival. NSFA also awarded college scholarships this year to several students from the area. Club Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month. Meetings consist of a 30-40 minute talk. A monthly guest speaker gives a demonstration in various fishing techniques as well as statistics on the latest fishing events in the area. Dinner then follows. We think It’s the best part. Brooke who is the head chef, is a fabulous cook with both the kitchen and barbecue. The food she serves as well as menu planning is amazing. I highly recommend attending a meeting. I give it 5 stars. Such Friendly people! Plus, you’ll never go home. Hungry!

We walked in to Compass on a Sunday at opening and was able to get all the accommodations of our original reservation at no extra cost. The gentleman named Hunter was courteous, knowledgeable and most importantly effective! His customer service was top tier 10/10. I highly recommend Compass for all of your moving and storage needs!
