Stopped in and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Liz took great care of me and I was able to get a month free promotion on a nice 10 x 10 climate controlled unit. Love the location and they have many options for different units and locks. They also have moving carts available which makes unloading a truck bed into a unit much easier and quicker. I really cannot say enough great things about my recent experience with Compass Self Storage in Bluffton, in particular with the General Manager, Cary Doyle. I showed up, without an appointment, to rent a unit. The office was very clean, orderly, and filled with customers. Mr. Doyle was working alone. He acknowledged me immediately and asked what he could do to assist me. He got me started on paperwork while still helping 2 other customers. THEN 2 additional customers walked in after I arrived. He did the same with them. His attitude was amazing! He was smiling, did not seem stressed out, and thanked us all for our patience and for bearing with him, as he was alone. I was not in a rush so I waited until he was able to clear everyone else and then he took me to my particular unit. He even offered to lend me a “loaner lock” until I could come back with my own. (This place doesn’t require you to purchase one of THEIR locks, unlike any other storage company I’ve done business with in the past.) I have done business with Public Storage and my experience been the polar opposite of this one. Mr. Doyle was amazing. I’m very grateful for his wonderful attitude and service that day.

If we could rate Compass Storage in Bluffton SC a 10 out of 5 we would. Top notch customer service by Bob and Cary. From the 1st time I called to the end of the process they went above and beyond. We were trying coordinate moving our entire house of furniture and outdoor furnishings using a commercial moving company from 1 side of the US to the other and putting it in storage until we found a new home. It involved lots of pre-planning, making sure the 70' semi tractor trailer could easily access the storage facility and getting adequate storage units. Bob and Cary were spot on the entire process. They were patient and thorough getting the necessary information for a seamless experience. We highly recommend this facility and Bob and Cary for their great team work, fantastic easy access storage facilities and excellent customer service.
